Community Mindset - What holds us back?

Updated: Jul 3, 2023

One of my favorite group tunings took place earlier this year in March. I had no idea what the "theme" or area treated would be when I arrived. The group were talking as we were getting settled about how it was a shame that nowadays people keep more to themselves and don't support each other as communities. They asked if I could do a tuning based on what holds us back from being more community minded.

To be honest, I was a bit lost at what I could treat on this theme but decided to go for it and see what came up. I was then quite amazed.

- The first emotion that came up was fear. I felt it in my feet and shin bones; it felt like they were lead and locked to the ground. I received the message that fear was held in our fields related to the possibility of people hurting us; if we opened up to others they might harm us, steal from us, hurt us emotionally, or make us sick... COVID came up here and the fear so many of us held for so long of getting too close to other people. We felt lighter after these difficult emotions cleared.

- Next the right side of the sacral plexus came up with feelings of churning and upset in my gut. This is the area where guilt and shame are held; where we hold difficult emotions over how we have behaved with other people. I have found that shame is the most debilitating and energy-withering emotion. This area eased and felt lighter after time with a few different forks needed.

- Lastly the heart area felt heavy, like it needed lightness and playfulness. It felt like we needed to let go of seriousness sometimes and be silly and playful with each other. I used the 528hz fork here to bring lightness into the heart space and told everyone to try to be more playful with the people in their lives! The result was a feeling of great expansiveness in the heart.

I loved this tuning because of the varied themes that arose from it and how it ended with opening the heart.
